Social media has hepled a lot, I mean a lot of families, social workers, and the goverment in gathering information during calamities especially the pandemic that stop us from our normal lives before, social media is like a bridge from the people to the social workers and the goverment because it is now very to access information through online social media platform I salute all people who only share true and factual information about covid 19 for goverment’s awareness about each and every part of the Philippines. Compare to the past where information is only provided by the mainstream media like TV, radio and print these three mainstream platform people only relied on these in the past, they don’t really have access to news information, especially during calamities specifically they don’t have enough access to give them warning signals about the coming typhoon. But now as long as you have cellphone and internet access it is very easy to access our current news, especially COVID-19 PANDEMIC NEWS.
